A home loan application form is a formal document that needs to be submitted to the bank or lender while applying for a home loan to buy or build a house. It mainly contains information that includes the applicant’s name, financial status, credit behavior, employment status, etc., attached with the required documents like – proof of identity, proof of address, proof of income, etc. Once filled out duly and attached with the necessary documents, the applicant submits it the lender for further processing.

A PM Awas Yojana scheme is divided into two major segments – (PMAY – Urban) and (PMAY – Gramin). Applicants under these categories can apply through online as well as offline. The PMAY application form mainly contains information like- applicant’s name, income proof, proof of address, employment type, minority certificate, etc.

An applicant can apply through the PMAY official website or by visiting their nearest CSC (Common Service Center). Once applied you can keep at track of the status of the application that helps an applicant to plan the future action in advance.

PMAY beneficiaries can track their PMAY application status online by entering their ‘Assessment ID’ or with their personal details like – applicant’s name, father’s name, registered phone number, etc.

The beneficiary can also visit the nearest Common Service Center to check the status of their application in-person.

How to check application status on PMAY website?

 An applicant can track their application status through two ways by using their:

  1. Assessment ID: An assessment ID is a unique number provided to each applicant while submitting the PMAY application to track the application status of the applicant. an applicant can use the Assessment ID that will redirect the applicant to the application status.
  2. Personal details: An applicant can also use their personal detail to track down the progress of their application. An applicant needs to fill out the personal details like – the applicant’s name, registered phone number, applicant’s father’s name, State name, district name, and city name.

An applicant can choose either of the two options to track their application status according to their convenience.

To check the PMAY application status follow the step-by-step guide mentioned below:

  • Tracking the PMAY application status via Assessment ID

Tracking the PMAY application status via ‘assessment ID’ is a simpler way to check the progress on the application. Follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1. Visit the official PMAY website.

Step 2. Go to the ‘Citizen Assessment’ option on the task bar.

Step 3. As you click the ‘Citizen Assessment’ option, under the dropdown menu you will get the ‘Track Assessment status’ option.

Step 4. Click on the button that says ‘Track Assessment status’ and select the ‘Assessment ID’ option.

Step 5. Fill your Assessment ID and your registered phone number.

Step 6. You will be redirected to the PMAY application status.

  • Tracking your PMAY application status via personal details.

Step 1. Visit the official PMAY website.

Step 2. Go to the ‘Citizen Assessment’ option on the task bar.

Step 3. As you click on ‘Citizen Assessment’. A menu will open where you should navigate to the ‘Track your Assessment status’ option.

Step 4. Click on the ‘Track you Assessment status’ and select the ‘Personal details’ option.

Step 5. Fill your personal details like – applicant’s name, registered phone number, and applicant’s father’s name.

Step 6. Once you enter the personal details will be redirected to the PMAY application status.

How to check PMAY application status offline?

An applicant can also check their PMAY application status through offline, according to his or her convenience. To track the PMAY application status offline, follow the below mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit your nearest Common Service center (CSC) and ask for the officer in-charge.

Step 2: Ask for the relevant form and provide the necessary details like – the Assessment ID, applicant’s name, registered phone number, Father’s name of the applicant, etc.

Step 3: submit the form for further process.

You can visit the municipality officer in-charge for further queries.

How to check PMAY application status via call?

An applicant can also call to track their PMAY application status via call or in case of any queries, an applicant can always call the below mentioned numbers:

  • NHB also known as the National Housing Bank can address applicant queries, and can be reached at 1800 –11-3388
  • HUDCO also known as The Housing and Urban Development Corporation can also clear a lot of queries related to this scheme, and can be reached at 1800-11-6163

  1. How can I get my PMAY application number?

Follow the below mentioned steps to get your PMAY application number:

  • Go to the official PMAY website
  • Select “Search Beneficiary” and click on ‘Search by name’ option.
  • Enter your Aadhar number and hit the ‘Show’ button.
  • You will be redirected to page displaying your application number including other details.
